Today’s post is inspired by Lesson 121 – Forgiveness is the key to happiness.
I am fascinated with the concept of forgiveness and all the applications it has for the human condition. A person’s ability to forgive can play a pivotal role in their health, happiness, in politics, sibling rivalry, international stability, social status and of course their self image and internal dialogue.
There is that ever present battle of forgiving the past and releasing old experiences juxtaposed with living in the present moment knowing that it is the only moment that you actually have any control over. What is one to do? And how do you forgive the wrongs your ego mind has convinced you of?
It is all good to understand you must release suffering, but how do we do that? How do we truly forgive and let go of painful emotions?
