The last time I heard Wayne Dyer speak he had a lot of interesting things to say about motivation.
He gave an example about following the speed limit. He asked the audience if we do it because we do not want to get pulled over & given a speeding ticket or are we following the posted speed limit out of concern for people’s safety both in and out of our vehicle?
He went on to talk about how motivation makes a difference in every aspect of life.
If you think about it, these “motivations” actually make up our moral compass. We make thousands of decisions each and every day, that is a lot of forward motion paving the way towards our destiny. It is sage advice to take a step back and take your own temperature throughout the day as you respond, react and recognize what motivates you to say and do what you say and do.
Ask yourself if you are making decisions out of love or fear. Sometimes the pain starts to pile up and we can no longer see the forest through the trees. Adding that level of care and love at a core level of your daily life can only bloom into some pretty beautiful transformative experiences.
Have a wonderful day and tap into the love you can bring to any given situation. And don’t forget to ask for help….from angels and earth angels. It really can make all the difference!
Light & love, Lisa
